BSN Program Changes and Updates for Admission

To deliver a more innovative and progressive curriculum, the prelicensure BSN programs at both our Carrollton and Newnan campuses will be undergoing significant changes.

1. The programs will be streamlined to 4-semesters, currently 6-8 semesters

2. The curriculum will be reduced from 66 credits to 60 credits

3. We will no longer have a summer start, instead we will have 2 admission periods for both the Carrollton and Newnan campus with both Fall and Spring starts

4. Class sizes will be reduced from 110 to 60

a. Both campuses will admit twice a year giving you more flexibility to finish your prerequisites

**Campus preference is not a guarantee, but you will be able to prioritize your preference during the application process.

Full curriculum details should be available around the November 2025 timeframe and are subject to change.

Admission criteria are not changing for the Fall 2026-Spring 2027 admission cycles.
