Ann Catherine Cox is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of West Georgia. She holds a master’s and specialist degree in Curriculum and Instruction and is currently pursuing her PhD in STEM Education at the University of Southern Mississippi. Mrs. Cox spent over 20 years in the public school system, teaching multiple grade levels, with her favorite being STEM. A dedicated advocate for reconnecting students with the natural world, Mrs. Cox partnered with her school system, the University of West Georgia, and a local natural stream restoration specialist to develop a K-12 curriculum focused on hydrology and fostering foundational knowledge and respect for nature. Mrs. Cox is a Science Ambassador for the state of Georgia and enjoys creating and delivering workshops for elementary teachers.
